For our latest project, we were hired by the Levering Building A. in Los Angeles to seismically retrofit the building with a moment frame. The Levering Building is a 4-6 unit building that was vulnerable to tuck-under parking and 2 or more stories.
We worked closely with the Levering Building staff to create a plan that would minimize disruptions and keep everyone safe during construction. We also created a cost recovery plan for the tenants of the building.
The project was a success, and the Levering Building is now seismically sound. The tenants are happy with the results, and we are proud to have helped make the Levering Building a safer place.
