OFFICE Accountant
Analyze the company’s financial information and prepare balance sheets reflecting current and long-term assets and liabilities, annual profit and loss statements, fund flow and cash flow statements and other consolidated accounting reports. Analyze the company’s past and current financial conditions and perform forecasts in order to develop annual budgets. Track deviations from budgets and utilize QuickBooks 2015 and Microsoft Word, Excel and Access to prepare reports summarizing the information. Advise management on midcourse corrections. Examine company expenses, income, and financial commitments. Leverage statistical procedures such as correlation and regression analysis and financial feasibility analysis to project future revenues and expenses. Summarize data and prepare reports to present to management. Analyze existing accounting systems, identify inefficiencies, and implement modifications to enhance accounting processes. Prepare annual and quarterly federal and state tax returns. Collaborate with outside auditors to prepare audited tax returns. Will supervise 1 accounts payable clerk, 1 accounts receivable clerk, and 1 collections manager.

Requirements: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with coursework in accounting or finance plus 1 year of experience in the job offered. Equivalent foreign degrees are acceptable. Experience gained prior to or during the Bachelor’s degree is acceptable. It requires skills and knowledge in QuickBooks 2015, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and financial feasibility analysis.
